Back....

Featured Replies

After a brief absence from the Skoda world (I defected to Vauxhall but saw sense!), I am soon to be back in the world of Skoda ownership.

Picking up my 2011 Octy diesel Vrs once my number plate has transferred across and I cannot wait!!

So it's more of a "hello again" than a "hello I'm new!"

Cheers

Matt

Welcome back, Matt. Given the problems you had with your last Octavia vRS, and your comments on it at the end, I'm surprised that you are buying another one.

Hi Matt - Welcome back to the forum! :)

Indeed, but having sat down in the cold light of day I had some pretty poor advice from various garages which ended up costing me a lot of cash.

I'm hoping the CR engine is better than the PD one. I managed to sort a 2 year full warranty as well so piece of mind really.

Nothing out there compared with the skoda in terms of bang for buck and practicality and value. I had a budget I had to stick to and couldn't find anything else which compared. Once I test drove it, it just felt good.

Fingers crossed and all that!

welcome back to the forum
