Vibrating Headlining

Hi guys,

I have a small problem with my otherwise super-duper 04 Octavia Elegance 19.TDi. In recent weeks I have noticed a buzzing/vibrating type noise coming from the left (when sitting in the driver's seat) ... seemed to be coming from the headlining at certain speeds on rough roads (all Lewisham ones!) When sitting in the passenger seat it seemed to come from the right, which of course suggested it is actually coming from the middle.

Sure enough, pressing up literally in the centre of the roof cures the buzzing noise temporarily and suggests something amiss with the headlining. Has anyone had a similar problem and effected a quick DIY fix? The car is under warranty and I can take it back the dealer no problem, but if others have had this and sorted it themselves it would probably be easier for me.

Oh, and the driver's seat has started to creak too ... familiar to anyone?
