So black it is.. Think it looks a lot smoother!

Oh.. And brand new Dunlop tyres fitted this morning!

I think you are right and the red calipers don't really look right on a blue car; although look fine on my black vRS.  Have you thought of painting the calipers to match the body colour?

But... but... red brakes are a VRS 'thing' :(

Sorry chaps, like I said very marmite... But to me, red calipers just look so cheap! I've always hates seeing painted calipers.

By contradiction, it works with for pots.. But even then, how can red work with a blue car... Too much clash for me!

Looks very nice on the blue like you say a bit to much with blue, been thinking of doing mine black as well.

The problem with black, is you just can't see it now, blends in to the darkness under the arches

Blending into the darkness is what I wanted. Now you just read the gorgeous neptune alloys

I like either red or green calipers, a bit of contrast and the red with the blue works well. The black calipers will just look dirty once they have lost shine become pitted.

That's why everyone is different though I suppose, it's like black alloys, once moving all Vrs look like taxi's that have lost there hub caps to me !

Yellow. Now that would be a great colour combination as is Red too

Had yellow AP four pots on my vectra GSI... By contrast to my current opinion they were absolutely amazing..... But that was a few years ago
