No CD player works in my octy

So I hooked up a sub and amp to my jvc head unit in my octy vrs then everything stopped working so I went along messed with the amp everything come back on but my head unit started sizzling and smoke come out since then my head unit just about comes on sometimes stays on other times goes off sometimes do t even come on, now I've removed all the sub and amp system and I've tried 3 different head units the only one that shows a slight sign of coming on is my jvc that got roasted none of the rest work in the car? Can someone please help me it's so boring driving with no music.

What voltages have you got on wiring colours at the head unit loom - i.e 5v on red 12v on blue? they are for example, not what you should be getting.

i dont have the slightest clue :peek:  any way i could find out?

A multimeter on the wiring from the headunit wiring to read the voltages
