front dash display sometimes fails to work.

1 out of every 10 times or so the small square display which shows your details like mpg, gear, temp etc fails to come on.

bad connection or is there one specific fuse for this that may have a damp connection? does tend to happen on more damp days.

anyone had the same issue?

I dont have the display in the middle but under the rev counter, you may have some damp getting in, maybe take the display iut and have a wee poke around

Sorry not more helfull

Sounds like it could be similar to the dry joint issues around the voltage regulator on the PCB dash which cause the similar problems,  Once the dash doesn't work as expected do you find the mpg avg for the last 1000 miles to be reset, etc?

I'm not sure actually. Have to see that next time.

Thanks for the tip.
