4X4 Owners dose anyone know which type of std haldex controler do we have ?

Featured Replies

After doing some research into my haldex controller as its broken it seems there is two types of standard controller, the difference appears to be the machined face, one has a slot with two holes and the other just has the holes no slot,is it engine code dependant as to which one you have ? or the year of the car I have the skoda pt no for mine its only £900   but all secondhand ones don't have any pt nos on them  any help appreciated

A VCDS scan should give you the controller part number.

Yes, that was the replacement ECU PN for my 2002 Octavia 1.8T 4X4 when it was changed under warranty in 2005. The original ECU PN ended in 554B.
