I have a Octy RS and my only gripe is the front skirt which is so near the ground that I scrape it on a regular basis. Has anyone had problems with this and any suggestions on how to sort it out (I think it has dropped down a bit)

Its a regulay problem even on non-vrs models. Not sure of a cure though, other than driving more carefully.

had a look at it today and the bottom edge underneath has a couple of splits, anyone got a suggestions regarding repairs?

I think you need to get your hem turned up love !!
