Skoda fabia,won't move?!

Featured Replies

Hi,

This is about my skoda fabia estate. One day it made a loud clunk noise before moving off, infact did this everytime before moving away.I thought at first it wasn't selecting a gear or was a clutch problem, but discovered the mph guage increasing as I accelerated but the car wouldn't move.

I jacked the car up and moved the passenger wheel round by hand and the driveshaft on that side wouldn't turn every time if at all.

So...could it be a wheel bearing issue,I don't know much about cars so any help would be great.

Kind regards, Jason.

make a post in the Fabia section, you are more likely to get a response there...............and welcome
