Black mirror cover

Featured Replies

Well done superskoda ,mirror covers arrived in one piece only ordered Saturday ,now fitted and wow it was worth it ,bit of a struggle removing the first as I was worried about breaking the glass but tilted glass down to give more room and vision to undo clips x2 ,fitting very easy

Any chance of some photos and maybe a "How To....."?

I got my black mirror covers yesterday. Did you use a small screwdriver to pop the top clips out between the glass?

Yes,wrapped tape around the shank of the screwdriver to stop any damage to mirror glass.tilted the mirror glass down to give a little bit more room and wound down the windows to be able to see better with torch whilst sat in seat to push clips down and pull off cover at the same time.

Thanks Sad555. Didn't realise you had to fold the mirrors in to change the covers. Will try to fit the covers when I get my new Corrida red outdoor elegance yeti on 30th September

Not long now w1zzer just over 3weeks

I know RickT. It did have a build week of week 34, then they changed it too week 35 (last week). Haven't heard whether its been built and do they deliver it in time for the September 30th hand over or do they extend the lease on the car I have at the moment

Getting excited!!!!

Wizzer,no need to FOLD the mirror ,just tilt the glass down to allow a bit more access at the top with a tool to release the 2 clips whilst pulling the cover away,I found it easier to see the clips sat in the seats with windows wound down, hope this helps.

Thanks
