Vcds arrived. Managed to disable stop/start, turn rear leds on with front drls and show fan speed on auto.

Tried to activate high beam assist without success following the instructions on the vcds thread. Can anyone give me a step by step guide please?

I would also like to disable the seatbelt alerts for both front seats and access the menu to adjust the sound actuator if anyone knows how

The guide on the thread has worked on every car I have tried it on, including a 2015MY so you must have missed a step?

PM me the log file from your Debug folder and I'll have a look.

Sound generator is a doddle, you don't need any security access code and there is only one adaptation channel on the Soundaktuator for the volume.

To be honest my colleague did the adjustments, I have now done a bit of digging and goin to try the seat belt warning, sound actuator and turn the drls back up.

With regards to the sound actuator can this be set with respect of mode? Ie I would like sport to be set the same as normal....

Also the hiccup with hba was when it asked to change another part of the code half way through if yiu can understand that.

II've read the xds can be changed, have you done this to any cars as yet?

Nope - not touched XDS - I think you may need the security login code for the ABS controller.

 

All you can do with the soundaktuator is set the maximum volume.
