glove box squeek easy fix.

Featured Replies

My glove box has been squeeking for ages. Tried tightning things up, using spongy pads etc. Then in a moment of genius i solved it! I just took the side pannel off and instead of making things tighter i loosened all the screws and hey presto it hasnt squeeked since!

you may have just made me a very happy man, been meaning to look at mine for a little while.  Thanks for posting.

Lol no problem mate. Its a 30 sec fix. Let me know how you get on

I tried that and the squeak came back during the next week of driving.

In the end dealer fixed it with some 'goo' or grease on the screw in question.

Hope yours stays fixed!

Hope this works. I always have the radio on so doesn't bother me as much but would prefer it to be completly gone.
