Yeti in the sun :)

Featured Replies

I was working from home today and saw the Yeti looking great in the sun, just had to take a pic. I still can't decide on mud flaps, leave it as it is, fit rears only or front and back?

What do you think?

RE mudflaps, by all accounts they do not seem to do much practical ways and don't stop spray unless you modify them as some have done. So it's down to looks, I think the Yeti looks better without flaps.

Flapless is the way to go.

See, I like mine with flaps.

They do cut out some of the detritus being thrown up the side - albeit not as much as they ought....

I've got the side mouldings to go on aswell and I do like the look of yours with the flaps on, this could go down to a coin flip!!

You can stop more of the c--p with longer ones  :giggle: .

That's a great off road / rally look and does the job better! Did you fit the additions with the flaps off the car?

Look in Yeti Tech section, Wakev has an excellent guide to how to do this, look for "Longer Mud Flaps"

Thanks Tony, found it :)

Prefer having the flaps fitted too and they still cut down the crap/stones from battering the bottom of the doors though longer would be better :D
