K04 shopping list

Featured Replies

Guys to use a k04

Is it

K04 turbo

Bam injectors

Bam manifold

Bam maf

Bam downpipe

And would a 225 milltek downpipe join the current octy milltek cat etc ?

Then a map ?

And then you've got to pull the engine apart to fit them, so you might as well do the rings and shells while you are at it.

Or just get a K03S hybrid which will slap straight onto your existing bits and have the power and torque levels detuned to 300bhp/300lbft. But then, what's the point in spending money on a great turbo and having to dial things back in case a rod decides to make a bid for freedom.

Lol

But you will never do it

I have a k04 kit

And as you never drive it no rods needed lol

Youll need a turbo, exhaust manifold, ko4 downpipe, TIP

I dont know how many bhps a ko4 can make so maybe you wont need rods

It was part a ponder for me, but was a mate thinking about it :)

Brakes would be my next

Or dif n clutch etc if could :D

Second the hybrid option. Is easier, but the k04 is creamier but requires more surgery.

It was just the whole , find a breaking cupra r lol

im still undecided what to do im thinking k300 route a set of 550 injectors a sytec fuel pump etc and do an engine over winter

Seems them k300 are the way to go bud :)

Pop in some rods n off u go lol

Now wheres a big bag of cash lmao

Lloyd you don't drive you car enough buddy to warrant doing it.

But if it were me K03 hybrid. Much easier and cheaper option. You don't need internals for a K04 or a K03 hybrid tbh as you will be around the 270bhp area.

as time gets on with mine it is becoming a mix of K04 and K03 stuff. I have the bam inlet Mani, the bam charge pipe. I have bam injectors to go on at some point so next is a turbo for me.:)
