You must have read my mind!!

I've just bought some Castrol Super DOT 4.

I can read people's minds "I'm Septic" :) .Will Super Dot 4 mix with Dot 4

I think it will.

What I'm wondering is:- Is it worth just topping up with the Super DOT 4 or bleeding some fluid out & then putting in a litre of Super DOT 4?????

Bear in mind, I have a track day this Sat.

bleed then add super dot 4

Or have a vacuum change over and filled from empty with super

 Cheers!

Any need to bleed the rear calipers as well??

not sure with the fabia to be honest.

I'm not sure either! :)

If it does, then I think you have to bleed the rear calipers with the axle loaded , i.e. resting with the axle stands at the end the trailing arm.

Anybody confirm that?

Right then, e-mailed my mate to see if the Fabia has a bias valve.

He seems to think it won't have one due to the ABS sensors, etc.

the octy has a brake bias valve and it has the ABS sensors etc.

Post a message in "ask a tech" or send a PM to "Lummox"

He will know for sure ;)
