Just took my Fabia in for it's first service today. When I picked it up the service guy at the dealer said he needed my car for a day in the future to sort the loud creaking sound when maneuvering, which involves replacing steering arms and an alignment. Apparently a common problem. Anyone else had this done?

I had the steering arm replaced but that was due to a minor accident in which my steering whel was 180 degrees out to the tyres. However I never experienced a creaking noise lol. It's a pretty straight forward 2 hour job maximum though.
