Scout Radiator Fan Part Number?

Featured Replies

Hey guys

I need a radiator fan and shroud arrangement for another project using RS500 intercoolers and radiators.  The one in my TDi pre FL scout looks to be an ideal candidate.  Can anyone tell me the part number (presuming it's not stamped in anywhere) and tell me how widespread that particular fan unit is?

Would it be the same on TSi and TDi with Octavia 2, Golf and A3?

Car is a 2008/2009 pre FL scout with the BMM engine.  I can provide VIN if required.  Even better if there are websites I can use to find these P/N's myself.

Cheers

I'd imagine the radiator fan will be the same for all MkII diesels.

This listing includes the part number and models it fits to...

The 1.9's are completely different.  This one looks the closest:  http://www.vehiclepartsdatabase.com/vehicles/allprivateroadvehicles/seat/alteaxl/20tdi4x4/bmm/32226/radiatorfans/tyc/8370028

But I can't find confirmation (or part number) of fitment in the Octavia 2.0tdi scout.  I also don't know if there is a change to the intercooler and shrouds with the facelift models.  Their engine inlet manifold piping is very different, I just don't know where the differences stop.

The Seat Altea 4x4 is the most promising lead.  Same BMM engine.
