I've seen one fitted to a Mazda 323 diesel a few years back, don't really see the point in it IMO

I tend to agree with ric04vrs as I think you would struggle to notice much difference in noise even with a meter and from the pictures IMO it does seem rather agriculture in the finish. But hey ho can only comment as asked on what is presented so no offence meant.

Yeah, I wasn't sure either. Just wondered if anyone had stuck one in, and what the results were.

I would have concern with this making engine temps worse.

Haha! I'll admit I was pretty bored when suggesting it.

They work well on boats to reduce noise when the engine is below the deck under your feet.

Anyone fancy standing on the bonnet as someone else drives and check a noise meter.
