Are These Steering Racks The Same

I know I have asked this on another thread, I have posted this one question just in case I miss someone who may have access to the part numbers

 

 

The part number for my Power steering rack is 6Q1 423 055AE

 

May have access to a replacement with this number

 

6Q1 423 055BL

 

Are these the same, are they compatable

Hi Mark, these are the part numbers for the LHD TRW rack (2006 model). I don't know what the one ending in AE is but it's not on that list...

So you think it will still fit?

The last 2 digits are not important to the fitting and relates to manufacturer or small change in design?

I presume it will be fine but don't take that as fact as I'm not 100% sure. Perhaps someone else on here may know?
