Locking wheel nut key

Featured Replies

Morning All

Found out the hard way yesterday that my locking nut that came with my VRS is not even for a Skoda!! ( Its a bmw key) which is an issue as I've got a slow puncture and all 4 tyres need changing

Would the locking set from skoda be coded to my chassis number so I'd be able to just order a replacement key from skoda?

Or would i need to visit them to have them remove them with the master set  and have a new set fitted?

Thanks in advance

Phil

You can visit Skoda, they will use the master set to establish which one you have and then order a replacement key.

Popped to my local VAG specialist on the off chance who had the locking removal set and was able to remove for the price of a pint!

£10 for the correct key off ebay and all sorted :-)
