I think the front one is now past it.  I fitted a Whiteline rear one which has worked well...would a 23mm R32 one be overkill, should I stick to stock?

I'd go for the 23mm front one and then at some point get the 28mm rear. That's what I'm aiming to get.

Isn't the standard Octy tdi one 23mm? Could be cheaper than an r32 one?

Possibly but it would be the wrong type with the curled ends if I'm not mistaken.

Change the drop links too?
