Hardwiring accessories on a PCP

Featured Replies

I'd really like to get a pair of front and rear cameras - blackvue or similar. Clearly the best (only?) way to go is to by wiring the thing into the fusebox and ensuring that the cables running to the actual cameras via the headlining/pillars are hidden. My question is - I'm on a PCP and am concerned about doing any modifications which might give the dealer cause for complaint in the event of a return at the end of the contract (though any such return is very likely to result in them getting more business from me - unless Skoda have a complete 'mare with the Octavia IV). When fitted by someone who knows what they're doing, is it possible for the car to be returned to 'stock' to the extent that the dealer can't tell it's been fiddled with? (I appreciate that certain dealers may be more vigilant than others in such regard!)

Once removed it cannot be noticed! I've got a DR550 2ch which is two cameras with only one power feed and I've just used a piggy back fuse and ran wires up A pillar and along headlining to the camera and then from camera along the drivers side roof tucking into headlining by pulling back seals
