time for an oil change 1.6 diesel not sure how much oil to buy and woul it be 5w 30 fully synthetic at a guess :/

Page 209 in the manual. VW507 spec - 4.6litres.

    page 209 is taking care of the interior on my manual lol so will a 5 litre be good as I'll have to fill oil filter as well.

    Need to mine soon. Is the oil filter accessible from above ?

    Assuming the sump plug is the same as the tsi engines, you'll find a 2 pence coin a perfect removal tool.

    A cabbie changing your own oil?

     

    It's basic maintenance and a business cost so why not just stump up and have it done professionally? To DIY it's 4.6 litres.

    hmm I'm not bad at mechanics always done my own work like springs clutches brakes and exhaust although majority of cars I work on are pre 08 plates and mostly petrol.

    no doubt I'll be scratching my head a few times wile I get round a new car with no YOUTUBE help.

    tackling today the job today so I'll update.
