Anyone breaking a ASZ PD130 engine?

Featured Replies

Rebuilding my cylinder head now with new cams, valves, seals, gaskets etc...

While removing my injector rocker arms I noticed one of the blanks has came out and been getting mangled up in the head. Will post pictures later to show which one I need.

Left hand side, closest to timing belt doing injector 1 and 2.

If you were local you could have popped in and picked up what you need for free...

Not breaking one but selling a vrs running over 200bhp with hybrid 150 on etc. Only after 2500 as need quick sale before new car on Saturday!

Thanks for the offer but already got everything I need for this engine, apart from the above posted part of course! Got the turbo etc but thanks anyway.

Always the case, the thing you need is always on the other side of the country! You have a pm regardless :)

I'm not sure if you can get the blanks seperatly to the rocker shaft but I have wondered about threading the hole and using a tapered grub screw in there to blank it, The blanks appear to be just a bit of soft alloy bar pressed in anyway so I'm sure a machine shop could sort something out for you mate.

Yeah I seen, took me a few minutes to work out what the piece of metal was at first, I could blank it off myself but don't want the worry in the back of my head, just incase!

I take it you've experienced the same fault also then?

Yes almost every time I take the top off one at least one of the bungs will be missing.. usually find em in the headbolt and tap them back in.

Good to know I guess then!

Mine must have been caught in somthing as it's abit twisted and mangled.

I was worried it may cause some lack of oil pressure?

you got mail

Ah, the rockers.  I just threw away about 8 of these that were lying about and seemed to have no use. :(
