Hi,

I've currently got a Polo GTI (hence the name), but after over four and a half years of fun, I'm thinking of changing it.

I still need a 5-door car (yes, got kids), and so this rules out the likes of the Ibiza Cupras, Audi S3 etc. I am not a fan of larger cars, as parking is a nightmare where I live - even the new Golf is a little long for my liking!

So, I'm looking at the Fabia vRS as the next fun-yet-sensible car to own.

I have a dealer really close by (Queensbrough in Glasgow), and very much like the look of the vRS's in their parking lot!

I'm going to have a look on the site for buying guides, but if anyone has a good link, please feel free to reply.

I will be very tempted to indulge in a little tuning, but have heard that it may cause a problem with clutches - again, I'll have a look around to see if there are any guides.

welcome, the fabia's are really good cars but octy vrs are better

I was going to buy the Fabia but decided to go for an Octavia VRS and I have never made a better choice, I've had it for about a month and it is still putting smiles from ear to ear when I drive it a little harder than usual. Fabia's are great for parking though!.
