Hi , I have recently become the owner of a Fabia Tdi elegance estate (2001 ).

The original unit is a standard fit radio / cassette. I have since bought a head unit (synphony) and 6 x CD changer that has been removed from an '05 Octavia ( dvd upgrade ) My local Skoda dealer tell me that the head unit is not compatible with the Fabia and that a new wiring loom would be needed ?
