turbo down pipe and sports cat?

Featured Replies

Hi

I have a miltek cat back on my octavia vrs 2.0tfsi and was wondering if I coukd fit the cheaper piper downpipe and cat bypass to this??? I know miltek say it voids warranty. But with a saving of nearly £300 seems silly not to

I have fitted a Pipewerx 3" DP to a Milltek cat-back exhaust. Pipewerx cut the DP down slightly (towards the end of the pipe); made an adapter for £15 and fitted that.

I did it as I had both seen first hand; and heard of welding issues on Milltek DP's.

Can you buy an adapter or is making one the only option? Also can I fit it myself then drive the car for remap or is it best to get it all fitted where I get my remap. Thanjs for quick reply!

Pipewerx might have the adapter in stock; if not they may have the adapter dimensions which they used for mine. Give them a call and ask them if they can help.

I drove my car without a remap after fitting the downpipe and it was fine. I've since had the car mapped to stage 2.

What power you running now stu
