2006 1.9 tdi, I have a vibration that starts at 1800 revs, gets worse the more revs  until 4000 revs then disappears & runs smooth

I have had wheels balanced, fitted new engine mounts, new clutch, switched wheels back to front, any ideas would be appreciated

Does it happen at that engine speed regardless of the gear and road speed?

Yes at the same engine speed no matter which gear I am in 

And how about if you aren't moving in neutral? With clutch up and down?

I get the same with my Octavia but on idle clutch in and out
