my m8 got a borg and beck solid flywheel kit in his golf and there is no rattle what so ever £450 retail for the kit i was amazed he's running 240bhp though don't know how the kit would withstand 280bhp ish

Golf Might be a 5 speed gearbox?

They don't make any noise on the 5 speed.

you can ease the noise with a SMF and paddle on a 6 speed by over filling gearbox with about 1/2 litre of oil this won't cause any issues just quietens the clatter a little
