New Octavia uses a more modern 1.2 engine and is far more aeordynamic.

Yeti was only facelifted a year ago, so if you wait for the new model you've probably got about two or three years to go...

 

The current Yeti is just the old one from 2009 with some tweaks, a lot of the car is based on the previous mk2 Octavia.

The current Octavia is a more modern car on a newer chassis with newer interior tech.

 

If having a car that's better is really important you should have waited 3 years for a Yeti, or bought an Octavia.

But whatever you do a short while later a better car will come out anyway... such is the car game.
