Reprogrammable ECU's

Featured Replies

OK,

I get my fabia soon and want to play with it! I got information on the best time to do this (miles wise (how many)) and got a good assortmant of answers.

I dont really wan to loose my warranty, but i do want to have the car ecu remapped. What to do?

My mate has a Accord Type-R and is getting the ECU remapped from here. These ECU simply plug in and they get remapped not the factory ECU. This should enable me to keep my warrenty as it can be removed once the service is due.

ld be goo

Question is does anyone know if these boys do reprogrammable ECU's for the Furby vRS, or know anywhere else that does? I have emailed them but no responce yet :( . I know you can get the pre-programmed ones but i want one that can have a custom remap to take into account any other mods on the car (filter, air intake, exhaust, etc.).

Any advice would be good.

Rob

No piggy-back ECU's available but there are loads of plug-in boxs for the PD130 engine. They simply increase the fuelling to the injection system. They can be removed for warranty work.

Do a search & all will become clear.

is there not a mod out there that allos you to switch the contents of the ecu. ie load the original ecu settings or load the performance settings

That'll be Revo or Dual System remaps then.

Not the most powerful remap. Recent logs has shown the boost is not changed only fuel is altered.

Got mine through Awesome GTI. Also from Derv Doctor, Star Performance I think.

Also do a search for REVO and SP1.

Beat me too it :D

Custom code is switchable too, We do Custom-Code and Dual System :)

Yes, I believe it is switchable, and apparently very good.
