25 mile drive home and the % dropped to 4.5 % and stayed there within 0.2%. Normal driving. But that's one journey. MPG seems down though. cant figure that one out really.

Any update here, did the problem reappear or did the new G450 sensor slow down the number of regens?

Problem fixed. It has been perfect ever since. I bareley notice it regenning anymore.

The reason I ask is that I've just had the same fault code (P0471) but for a slightly different reason - "Exhaust Pressure Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance".

My main point here is that the garage (who use the Ross-Tech / VCDS software) mentioned G430, not G450.

Was he mistaken or is there indeed a G430 sensor I wonder!

Fantastic news. I like a happy ending!

Google doesnt show a G430, but does a G450

Yep, I did a quick search too, found nothing. I do know that the sensor at fault is either underneath or very close to little silver foil pouch at the back of the engine up against the bulkhead - which I'm lead to believe is the G450.

I think he must have may be said it wrong, or I miss heard him!

It's getting replaced this afternoon anyway, great same day service, the EML only came on this morning, although the wife did report a loss of power just before the EML came on, limp home mode I wonder.

The G450 is a stock item at dealsers so many need replacing. It is by the pouch 2 second job, 1 bolt, 2 pipes.
