Just to clarify, this isn't an Xman turbo.

**Sunday Special** £500 today only, payment by bank transfer and I'll have the turbo posted tomorrow. I can't provide warranty, only a balance sheet and receipt for the work done (£320)

What's wrong with Xman turbos and why is this different?

  • Author

I never said there was anything wrong with Xman turbo's, this one was an unused pd150 that has had a 54mm compressor wheel fitted and housing machined to suit. I was accused of trying to sell an Xman turbo for profit which isn't the case, this turbo cost £400 plus £320 for hybrid work plus £30 postage. I can't take the loss of selling at the same price as Xman.

I didn't accuse you on fb at all mate. I said the way I read it, that's how it came across.

Anyway, cracking price at £500!!

  • Author

Can't be that good a price or it would sell!!

Reduced to £580 on eBay posted, sensible offers over £500 on here.

  • Author

£450 posted isn't a sensible offer.

Someone missed the word "over". :D

  • Author

Indeed, there's always one.

You say you can't provide warranty? Did the company that recently reconditioned the turbo not provide a warranty?

Bargain. My Hybrid PD150 on the old Fabia cost almost twice that.

  • Author

I can only provide a receipt for the work done.

It does indeed seem like a bargain but with zero warranty on either the turbo or the hybrid work done it just seems a bit odd.

I would buy it in a second if I new it would last (guaranteed) for at least some period of time.

How many times do you want me to say the same thing? I've told you via pm and on this post that I bought an unused pd150 for £400, gave it to a company in Glasgow who did the hybrid work for £320 which I have a receipt and balance sheet for. If you don't want it, stop complaining and buy one from Xman.

Oh ok I got ya :) I'm not complaining - I'm just a bit paranoid about buying second hand things like this, sorry if I came off that way.

i wouldn't exactly call it second hand when it's been sent off for new, bigger internal parts fitted this is basically a brand new turbo, it's never been fitted.

I'd have had it off you but I've just bought a Knackered PD150 to be sent off and Refurbed (maybe hybrid'd) myself.

GLWS mate, people think it's expensive because of how cheap Xman is selling his for, this will put more power down than Xman's with it being a 150 to start with.

No Disrespect to Xman intended ;)

I see where you are coming from - bit unfair to call it second hand I surpose.

I would buy it but hes decided he doesn't want to sell it to me any more. (lol)

Taking into consideration it was you who offered £450 you'll have to dig deeper in your pockets.

I did at first yes but then I thought we agreed on £500?

  • Author

Once I pay postage and paypal fees I'll be £300 down.

  • Author

Provisionally sold.

OK, its just yesterday you said "£500 and you pay paypal fee / send as gift"

Keeping an eye on this
