We're still waiting for a date. Looking like at least 2017 now and we're only a few miles from the centre of Edinburgh.

Currently using two adsl connections each about 1.1/1.2mbs down.

I know the feeling - I had Sky (LLU from BT). Lived about 1 mile from the nearest exchange but no plans to upgrade the exchange for the foreseeable future. Got a maximum of 5Mbs on a good day with 3.5-4 being the average.

 

Now on VM and getting 30+ ( with a free upgrade in the near future to 50), all for about £3/month more.

double check with virgin website a couple of weeks ago i upgraded from 30 to 50 if you go onto your account i think there is a link to upgrade for nothing as they dont do 30 anymore

Apparently the dates for my area is Jan 2015 to March 2015.

 

Still never mind, at current speeds its still 8-10 times quicker than Sky/BT.
