Just come out to the car and have the above, also the steering a gone all heavy.

Anything I need to look for? Fuses etc.

What condition is the battery in? i know the steering takes a lot of power out of the battery,a weak battery could cause this. 

Brand new battery a couple of weeks ago

Ah,ok,could it be linked to your recent steering wheel change?

Power Steering perhaps?

It is something to do with the electromechanical steering, tried the manual adaptation which hasn't worked so need to try vagcom I think.

Didn't know if anyone had had the symptoms and rectified it.
