Just posted in the tech section so thought it prudent to say hello.  Just purchased my first Skoda (Octavia VRS Diesel)  and am very impressed.  Long blast back to Germany and averaged 42mpg even with 30mph average for first 6 hours in UK (London traffic) and then 110mph on the Autobahn.

 

Only downside is the damned Sound Generator.  Pretty sure it is causing the annoying buzzing above 80mph.  Not a problem in the UK as I never drive above 70mph  :angel:  but annoying over here!
