Google hey who would have known.

This Atmospheric Blow-off Valve Spacer from Forge Motorsports is a first of its kind for the 2.0-liter TSI / TFSI engines. The spacer is a pressure release system that can be used with the stock diverter valve to vent extra boost air into the atmosphere instead of sending it back into the engine's intake piping.

The Forge spacer is a great solution for open air venting, without converting over to a full blow-off valve. Run it without worrying about a check engine light, as it is designed to circulate a certain amount of charge pressure to keep the engine running as it was from the factory.

Don't bother with it

I have one fitted to mine hasn't made any diff either for or against power but I do now have the rather chavy tttiiiiiiisssssss noise now ;)

They are also meant to help in prolonging the life of a turbo ... Check back in a few years haha

In my experience it wouldn't come back on boost immediately after changing gears when 'on it'. I took it off mainly because of that but also the noise was a bit annoying after a while.
