a point to remember is how much discount could you get with 0% compared to normal

Yeah....it's gone. Was definitely there this morning with an example of 10% deposit and £308/month over 37 months and 10k pa miles.

They would have had to pay for the finance - so about 6% of the price of the car.

 

Knowing Simpsons it was probably a mistake.

No, it seems that it is/was a deal. I phoned them earlier and there finance manager is calling me on Monday regarding my current deal.

Anyone know how I would stand on this? I've not signed any of my original agreement and only have it in principle, so in theory I haven't taken out any finance deal yet?

It isn't an official Skoda deal, so Simpsons have you over a barrel as they can choose to treat it as a new order and renegotiate discount, p/ex etc.

The finance example did say it was offered by Skoda Finance, pitty I didn't save the page.

Yep, the finance will be through Skoda Finance, that doesn't mean it is a Skoda UK campaign though - the dealer will be paying for it.

 

In theory, any dealer could offer 0% on the vRS as long as they are willing to pay for it.

So the offer has been withdrawn, it was only available to Hatchback VRS's with no extras (stock VRS) 

 

Although they have reviewed my finance deal, and it has become cheaper. Plus 3 years FPS free, so it was worth the call as I'm about to sign my contract!
