Hi guys,

I'm looking for a new LCD TV, budget

I've spent the past few weeks researching a 2nd LCD TV for the house, and I don't think I'm any further forward now! :D Widescreen or 4:3? As it'll end up as a second TV I'm guessing that High Definition isn't really important..?

If its any use, I've already got one LCD. Its a 20" Sharp Aquos and its about a year old now, but the picture's brilliant. I'd even risk saying its better than a Panasonic plasma that I ordered last week (but I'm not paying LCD prices for a large screen!)

IMO you can't go wrong with the Aquos range, and to be honest I didn't realise they were down to as low as

The Sharps are decent quality - we use them at work when we want a good quality basic screen - we often have specialised requirements that the Sharps don't meet, but for home use they are a good choice.

Thanks guys I will investigate them more. Looks like a good choice to fill the gap before I get the 32" Sony for my wall. :)
