Specialist VAG tuning companies in sussex to sort out issue with acceleration/throttle issue?

Featured Replies

For a while now I have had issues with my car. When I accelerate, it feels restricted sometimes and when I let off throttle, the exhaust note is somewhat weird.... Can't explain the sound. But definitely not right.

Something is definitely wrong with the car and fed up. So really need to get this professionally looked at but don't wanna get ripped off and without a car for weeks! Anyone know of maybe a tuning company perhaps who wouldn't mind diagnosing the issue?

Thanks,

Joe

a bit far but JKM in Portsmouth are second to none.

Another vote from me for jkm motors in Portsmouth, old jim certainly knows his stuff.. It is a fair old distance away for you though..

The other place that springs to mind is john Mitchell racing in littlehampton. http://www.johnmitchellracing.co.uk

Yeah I had a look at JMR earlier, and portsmouth isn't so far really. I could visit me mum at the same time lol but littlehampton will be more ideal as may need to leave them with the car.

Lmfao.

Joe another advocate of JKM mate. They are very clued up on all VAG cars.

Or you are not far from CNTuning in Woking aka Clive:) and he can sort you out too.

If you have VCDS worth doing a scan .

May of stored some error codes.

Typically a number of things can cause your symptoms ( a sticky on hesitation maybe worth a read too).

Culprits are:

Boost leak

Check hoses around inlet and main intake and boost side

N75 valve( very common to fail) as this is in line between turbo and intake and controls boost a likely candidate

DV

Maf

Map sensor on intercooler

Ha ha aim to please :-) only asked as that was your answer to last thread lol

Well if you get stuck that clive is a clever guy lol

I dont think him and clive get on? Just a vibe im picking up lol

I'll prob go JKM. The first 4 letters of CNTuning seem very apt for Clive...?

Bowders, thanks buddy. n75 valve got changed to a new genuine one, so isn't that.

Checked hoses and seems to be no leak. It does have some error codes from last time it was on, so when it goes away to JKM, I'll get them to put it on their diagnostic machine and see what they say. And thanks for the advice, appreciated.

Sorry tom

Listen here folks, I don't know what's going on here but somebody here seems to have a rat up their arse over something. So let's calm it all down shall we.

Ooh, looking at mechanics around the hants/surrey/berks border and noticed the CN tuning thing...

...but what's the beef with this clive bloke?

Nowt wrong with me ;-) I just say it how it is and correct people when there wrong

Lots of Google mechanics around that believe they know it all when reality is its people like me putting there cars right when they mess it up ;-)
