Guys, just trying to help out a fellow Briskodian over in the quieter Superb forum.

 

He has posted this image of his Maxidot display showing the service intervals for his car.

 

 

I've never seen this before, has anyone else?

 

The car is set to fixed / annual servicing and is indeed 1,700 miles away from the 10K interval.

 

What is the inspection criteria all about?

Given that the service intervals are the same (variable or fixed) on the Octavia any help or advice would be much appreciated!

My MKIII VRs says the same. Inspection service is a different milage/time from the oil change. You would think they would be the same

Hmm, so this sounds like a recent addition to newer models then.

 

To have two different options with distance and mileage seems a little confusing!

I'll post a photo in this thread tomorrow just to confirm
