Just got my front tyre changed as it had a bubble on the side wall (pass side) and I see this cable tied to another pipe,

I'm sure that's not how or where it is mento be

Must have bin a big bible :).

 

Looks like someone's fitted pads with no sensor and bodged it to make to light stay off.

That's the lead for your brake pad sensor. Any pics of the bible that you found in your tyre?

I didn't actually find it, I hit a pothole on my way back from work and created it :P

So next time I get my brakes changed I can just re connect the sensor ? Or isit not as easy as that

IMG_1976.jpgIt looks like someone has circumcised the original connector so not sure if there is anything to connect up for your future brake pad change, as the above pics shows what the connector looks like.

This is what happens when idiots dont do the job properly.

Can I not get a new wire ?

No only one sensor for brake pads, if you have no warning lights it probably been turned off, not really worth bothering to fix.

Just really ****ed off when things ain't done right :( but yh might just leave it
