Been doing some searching for the coding adaption for having the tail lights on with DRLs. I emailed vagtechniek in the Netherlands after reading a topic on http://www.vwupforum.nl/ and received a reply saying to use the long code helper in vcds and to set byte 12, bit 0 to 1. Now I have never used VCDS and would like some help from someone here who knows what they are doing. How does the long code helper work?
