I know it should be fixed but I need the car urgently and can't get it fixed till next month or so...

Im not sure its that simple.

What is the actual problem with the car?  Pickup coil, or something more serious?

Going by his other posts he replaced a fuse for the instrument cluster and he did it sparked and i assume shorted it out. Although no one has replied to his other threads

Can't say if the unit works as I've never seen one but if your not sure and the seller can't answer the question for you then there are plenty of places that could do it for you.

I sent a spare ecu away via the post and was returned in a few days with the immobiliser removed and worked a treat.
