octavia with rear arb,pics required

Featured Replies

ow do?

has anyone got an image of the octavia vrs with a fitted eibach anti roll bar(rear)i have one sat waiting to be fitted,i just need a gander at where the bar joins the beam near the bottom of the strut.

on my last car it was a case of modifying the rear beam with a drill :) and bolting on a drop link,i'm presuming this is different with the eibach (mk4 golf) version.

thanks

Don't know if this helps but the Neuspeed rear ARB had a couple of hangers/brackets which clamp the ARB to the rear beam.....a right bugger to fit as well.

offered it up tonight at 6pm,just to see how it went on.ended up tightening the last bolt in the dark @about 8pm :D ,been out for a test drive and its good, very good.but it does need the front, and at 49000 miles it needs new suspension, should be like a limpet then

just noticed the cable tie  a vital part of fitting it single handedly

Just hoping the cable tie isn't essential to keeping it on then :P

I'm still @ work at the moment  - not amused as yet again sorting out other ppls mess, but what can you do :(

i'm going to have a fiddle with those two clamps tomorow, not too happy with fitment, but they should settle in to the shape of the beam quickly.

and glad to report not knocks, took the car over some speeds humps to test( it came off a leon cupra R because it knocked, but the rear suspension is different )

thats 1 neuspeed and one eibach rear fitted by me now, both a right sod if you're on your own, clamping around the beam and just getting that bolt to start takes a grip like popeye, and then lining up the bolt through the damper is equally sodworthy, pushing the old bolt abck in from the other side helped, then push the new one through, pushing out the old one
