Columbus audio system.

Hi all,

Hope someone can help? My better half has just purchased a 2012 FL Vrs Tdi with Columbus system. Everything is great about the car but I feel that there is some depth missing from the audio, it's almost as if the bass drivers are not working correctly. In the eq I had to turn bass to maxium and you only really hear the speakers at a louder volume. Is this normal for the octi? At the moment my stock speakers in my vw up have more low end.
