Maxi Dot - Temp missing

Featured Replies

I pulled over to set up sat nav, not sure if I switched engine. Shortly after pulling away I noticed the Maxi Dot was blank. After pausing every button I pulled over again switched off ignition, removed key, started up and it was still not there. After parking up and leaving the car locked for 15mins I set off again and everything back to normal. I've not seen anybody else mention this problem so wondered if I'm the first.

Will check in the morning. As I say it seems OK now, why would this cause the display to disappear?

Did the temp show three dashes "---"? Or was the whole maxidot blank? If the dashes appear then oil temp below 50 deg C. It is not too clear what you mean by blank on maxidot?

The outside temp shows up on the top right of the informant screen..... Is that what you mean?

The whole display went blank. It was as if it had been switched off.
