300bhp rods fitting suggestion

Featured Replies

Hai Bbt informed me that , I have to change my rods for the k300 turbo upgrade , please let me know that , from where can I buy it as a kit ?

Also please tell me how to do it stage by stage

My car is Octavia mk1 1.8t VRS,

Should I need to over all the entire engine ?

You buy rods from various sources but it's a bottom end rebuild if you haven't done one IMO get someone who has to do it big job

Yeah my professional skoda mechanic will be doing this work , only the connecting rod should change or we should do an engine rebuild ?

Rods is a full strip down anyway

I.e head off pistons out

So new piston rings new head bolts and gaskets new bearings the full works

While your at it get the stem seals and valve guides in head replaced
