Right I have had my car flash and beep it's red oil can light at me again!!!!!

I have already done the oil pick up pipe about 2 months ago and did a oil and filter change at the same time,

It has done it a couple of times now over the last two days and it only happens after a hard drive?

Need help as I don't want to kill the car

+1 for the oil pump. When more pressure is needed at higher rpm the pump can't deliver. I've had this on mine not long after I bought it at about 89k iirc.

Oil pump or dodgy sensor I'd say.

You could get a pressure test done to check if the pump is ok. It would save you removing the sump.

I live in Stockport Manchester is there anywhere around this are that will do that? What type of pressure test would I need?

Any garage could do it. When my car suffered with the oil light coming on I put it into my local main dealer. When the car was fixed it actually had on the receipt what tests were done. One of those was an oil pressure test and it had what pressure it had at certain revs.

have you checked the bonnet sensor mine was on red and it was sensor hope this helps
