I'm sure it was this one.  He said it was in a co-part, and it had been written off due to side on rear-end shunt.  And it was yellow.

Basically you pay a membership sign up fee and then 12p iirc a day to be a member then it's an auction and at the end you pay the fees and chose delivery or collection.

Yes, you have to register (go to one of their sites, show ID and pay membership fee (£45 IIRC)) then you can bid online.

Exactly my uncle travelled from Aberdeen to RedRuth to pick up a Landrover 300TDI and drive it back as it was the right one for him
