swapping over android phone apps

Featured Replies

Getting an Xperia Z3 tomorrow.

Currently using a "T" - been OK for 2 years but starting to show its age, both in battery life, and the fact the mic has gone so can only talk on speaker....

Most apps I can simply re-download and install / sign in.  The only one I am half concerned with is my £24.99 co-pilot Europe app.  I don't fancy paying for it again, so not sure how I will go about reinstalling that on to my new phone.  Does anyone else have experience of moving a paid-for app across to a new android device? :)

fair play,  Never realised the play store worked like that. :)

yep, all my apps were there as back ups to reinstall in Play and remain so.

If your worried you could back it up on to an SD card if both phones use them.

Yeah play store definitely works like that - had to replace my Galaxy after dropping it on th corner and it couldn't have been simpler.

Just went to Playstore and all the apps you have ever downloaded through it are there and available (including paid)

Cool - The Z3 arrived today so this evening is play time I think! :D

I've put the android version of Tomtom on several devices with no problem, all signed in with the same google account.

Sign in to the existing play store account, then select the top left corner of the screen and select "My apps", scroll down the list installing what you need.
